Developing your Practice Workshop - FAQs
This workshop is suitable for students who have previously taken my Introduction to Intuitive Abstract Painting workshop, as it takes you on the next steps of developing your intuitive practice further.
It’s not essential to have done my introductory workshop first however - if you already have some experience of intuitive/abstract painting, and would like to develop this approach further in your practice, then this workshop would be suitable for you too, especially if you like working with acrylics.
If you prefer oils or would like to try oils, I would recommend my 2 Day Oil Painting Workshop. (https://www.juliapoulton.com/two-day-workshops)
If you’re completely new to intuitive/abstract painting, I’d recommend my 1 Day Introductory Workshop,(https://www.juliapoulton.com/one-day-workshop) which is suitable for all levels.

There will be a maximum of 4 students per workshop. This ensures plenty of individual support from Julia, as well as the opportunity for valuable peer support within a more intimate and relaxed setting.
Yes. Tea, coffee and biscuits are provided. Please bring a packed lunch.

Yes. There are a few hotels/b&bs nearby. I'll include a list within the course information that you'll receive after booking.
PLEASE NOTE: There may be occasion where I need to cancel or move a workshop due to unforseen cirmumstances (such as illness or insufficient numbers to run). As such, I would recommend booking accommodation that offers cancellation refunds, or waiting til nearer the workshop date before booking your accommodation.
In the event of cancellation, I will do my best to let you know with a minimum of 2 weeks notice.
A minimum of 2 week's notice (prior to course start date) must be given to enable a refund on your course booking. Cancellation within less than 2 weeks prior to the course date will not be refunded. However, in the event I am able to fill your place, a refund will be made.
Should I need to cancel the course myself (due to unforseen circumstances or not having the required number to run), I will aim to give as much notice as possible. You will be offered an alternative course date or refund.
